The platform stated the revised method more closely matches comparable marketplaces. It has advised users to examine their items and update the measurements by hand when needed, which has left users frustrated. Size Classification Modifications Before the change, the sizes had both one number and one letter, such as S/8 or M/10. The revised method features an alphabetical indicator and numerical range such as S/UK 8-10. With some products, the size labels have been reassigned - for example a size L was previously a 12 but now shows as UK 16-18. User Stories Frankie Bridger, who produces content about larger sizing, stated the update "complicates both purchasing and selling". "Not many brands say XL is a 20-22," as the platform currently indicates. Stephanie Gallen, from Glasgow, said garments she listed featuring size 14 markings were appearing on the platform as larger sizing 20-22. "Should someone sized 20-22 purchase these they may become frustrated," she explained.
