Operation "Truthful Promise 4" The Iranian Revolutionary Guard stated it was targeting US bases and assets as part of operation "Truthful Promise 4", in retaliation for the attack on the Islamic Republic launched by the US and Israel on Saturday. That preceding assault - launched at approximately 09:15 Iran time - has so far struck areas linked to the Tehran's leadership, with US President Donald Trump urging the Iranian people to revolt against the regime. Wider Impacts In the State of Israel, sirens were heard nationwide after the Israel Defense Forces stated it had identified an barrage of missiles from Iran. The Ministry of Defence of the UAE said in a statement that the country has been targeted by a "a blatant attack involving Iranian ballistic missiles". "Emirati air defenses engaged the projectiles with notable success and shot down a series of missiles," the statement continued. The statement noted missile fragments fell on a neighborhood in the capital, resulting in some structural damage and killing a civilian. The United States Air Force is stationed at the Al Dhafra base, to the south of the Emirati capital, along with the Emirati Air Force.
